01— Introduction
A prayer for our journey
Lord, thank You for bringing me to this moment. As I begin this journey, help me to pause and reflect on Your love and purpose for my life. Teach me to name my emotions, align my values with Your truth, and act in ways that honor You. May Your presence be my anchor and Your love my guide.
Amen.
02— Appendix A — A reflective prayer (for quiet reading)
Live the Ahava Way
(for those learning to feel, return, and love again)
God of Love, You who shaped me in tenderness and truth,
I receive Your invitation to return.
Where I have hidden, call me back into the light.
Where I have feared, wrap me in peace.
Where I have silenced myself, give me courage to speak.
Where I have performed, teach me how to rest.
Where I have braced, let me breathe again.
I no longer want to earn what You give freely.
I no longer want to fear what You have called good.
I want to live from Your love,
Not just occasionally, but daily.
Show me what matters.
Remind me who I am.
Strengthen me to walk in truth
And to return when I forget.
Let my breath align with Your Spirit.
Let my actions reflect Your heart.
Let my life be rooted in Ahava love,
Steady, brave, and real.
Amen.
03— Appendix B — Commissioning prayer
I choose Love
I choose Love.
Not performance. Not perfection.
I choose Truth.
Even when it costs me comfort.
Even when it invites me to return again.
I choose to feel, to speak, to rise,
To return to who I am and whose I am.
I was created for love.
I was not made to shrink.
I was not made to disappear.
I was not made to be ruled by fear.
Whether I am single or married, young or aging, wounded or healing.
Whether I stand in a season of joy or walk through the valley of grief.
Whether I lead or follow, speak or listen, build or rest.
I am a beloved child of God.
I carry the Spirit of God in my body.
I carry the voice of God in my story.
I carry the love of God in my heart.
So today, I return to Love.
I return to Breath.
I return to Ahava.
And I will walk in it.
Amen.
