Safety & Care

Educational content · not a substitute for therapy

Your safety is at the heart of every intensive.

I offer evidence-based psychotherapy and work with clients who prefer a fully secular approach as well as clients who desire Christian-informed care. Faith integration is always optional and guided by the client’s preferences.

Your safety is at the heart of every intensive. Trauma and couples work is powerful and while these approaches can open the door to healing, they may not be right for every situation. Each person’s story is unique, and part of our work together is discerning what will best support you at this time.

Before beginning, we’ll take time to walk through your history and goals so we can be sure an intensive is a good and safe fit. This process is not a replacement for ongoing therapy, medical care, or crisis support, but rather a focused space to move toward lasting change.

It’s important to know that results cannot be guaranteed, and sometimes the journey of healing can stir up temporary discomfort before peace and integration follow. My role is to hold that space with you — prayerfully, thoughtfully, and with professional care.

Faith integration is always invitational. For those who desire, we may weave in prayer, Scripture, or Christ-centered reflection, honoring Christ as healer and respecting your personal faith journey.

If you are in immediate crisis, experiencing thoughts of harming yourself, or struggling with overwhelming distress, please seek emergency help right away or connect with your local crisis hotline. In the US, call or text 988. You do not have to walk this path alone.

You are not alone in this journey. Together, we can seek healing, hope, and renewal.
